The Commons – Summer Closure Notice

During the summer 2024 semester, The Commons will be temporarily closed for service due to renovation construction. The last day of service in The Commons for the spring semester is May 1 and normal operations are expected to resume with the commencement of the fall 2024 semester.

Throughout this period, High Point Café on the Kennesaw campus and Stingers on the Marietta campus will remain open. Meal entries can be utilized at High Point Café and Food Trucks for combo meals, at Stingers for entry to the dining hall and at The Hub in The Commons for Grab and Go items. Additionally, various retail locations will be operational on both campuses accepting Dining Dollars.

Please note that any remaining entries or Dining Dollars from the spring semester will not carry over to the summer and we encourage careful consideration when purchasing a summer meal plan.

2024 – 25 Access Plans

Use Access Plan entries at both of our award-winning dining halls, The Commons (Kennesaw) and Stingers (Marietta), at High Point Café for Meal Plan Combo Meals, plus at food trucks on campus. After the last day of each semester's finals, any unused entries will be forfeited. Entries can be used any time during the semester in which they were purchased. The more entries you purchase, the greater your cost savings!

Take the guess work out of creating your perfect Meal Plan by selecting from any of the pre-packaged plans that include weekly entries into the Dining Halls and Dining Dollars. Dining Dollars is a declining balance account that can be used to make sales tax-free food and beverage purchases on campus. Weekly entries into the dining halls may be used between Sunday and Saturday and reset each Sunday.

Select Your Commuter Meal Plan

Follow the steps below to mix and match an Access Plan and Dining Dollars to create your perfect plan through the mobile ordering app. Please note that it will take 24 to 48 hours for a Meal Plan charge to appear on your student account, but your Meal Plan is activated at the top of each hour if the semester is in session.

  1. Download the Transact Mobile Ordering app
  2. Select Ò»Ò¹ÇéÊÓƵ Dining
  3. Log in with your Ò»Ò¹ÇéÊÓƵ student email address and password
  4. Mix and match an Access Plan and Dining Dollars amount
  5. Ò»Ò¹ÇéÊÓƵ the cost to your student account or pay with a debit/credit card

Check Your Balance

  1. Open the Transact Mobile Ordering app
  2. Select "Check Your Meal Plan Balance" on the homepage
  3. Click "Sign In"
  4. Log in using your Ò»Ò¹ÇéÊÓƵ student email address, password and DUO authentication
  5. Click the Meal Plan icon on the left side of the webpage
